Behavioral health help available: Free series of webinars to help support families, children and youth.

Going back to school is hard for most children and youth in a “normal” year but heading back during a pandemic can be especially stressful. But there is hope.

Supporting families and improving child and adolescent mental health in Pierce County is a top priority. We are partnering with Kids’ Mental Health Pierce County to help children, youth and families adjust to new learning environments and thrive during the pandemic and beyond.

Kids Mental Health Pierce County produces podcasts, videos and hosts a series of webinars to help support families, children and youth during these challenging times.

A sample of webinar topics includes:

  • Managing stress and family resiliency.
  • Racism and social justice.
  • Strategies to support parents and caregivers.

This large group of agencies and professionals wants every family in Pierce County to know help is available.
