We’re bringing COVID-19 vaccine to the people! Get your dose at home, work, or even a Rainiers game.

Earlier this year, we didn’t have enough COVID-19 vaccine for everyone who wanted to get vaccinated. To distribute vaccine as quickly as possible, we held drive-thru community vaccine events throughout Pierce County.

Times changed quickly! We now have plenty of vaccine, which means we can make it easier for you to get your vaccine at a convenient time and place. That might mean:

  • Your workplace.
  • Your house.
  • A Tacoma Rainiers game!

Vaccine events and healthcare providers still serve thousands of Pierce County residents each week. But in some cases, it’s better to bring the vaccine to you.

That’s why we’re forming partnerships around the county and working with businesses who want to provide vaccines for their staff.

Buy me some peanuts and Cracker Jacks (and give me a free vaccine).

Now you can get more than peanuts and hot dogs at a Tacoma Rainiers game.

Following a successful test run at the Rainiers’ first homestand, you can now get your vaccines at more home games! You can find your vaccine at a lower deck area near the entrance.

You’ll get more than a shot. The team will provide a beverage and snack during your 15 minute post-shot wait. And you’ll get a ticket for a future game where you’ll be able to sit in the stadium’s vaccinated section.

Look for more announcements about new locations and partnerships that will make it easy for you to get your vaccine!

Take a break, get a vaccine.

We bring vaccines to workplaces at the request of some employers. They’ve asked for many reasons, like:

  • Staff works in close quarters.
  • They’ve had outbreaks and don’t want more.
  • They want to make it easy for staff to get vaccinated.
  • Staff want to ask their vaccine questions to trusted public health nurses.

We started workplace clinics in March and are expanding this service because it’s so popular. We’ve held events at places like farms in Puyallup and Sumner and production facilities in Fife, Tacoma, and Puyallup.

We can invite employees’ family members and staff from neighboring businesses to each event. Last week, we opened an event at Northwest Door in Puyallup to the public.
