Your trash and compost go to the Land Recovery, Incorporated (LRI) Landfill in Graham. We permit the landfill to accept commercial and residential waste in Pierce County. And we make sure it is safe for residents and the environment.
LRI estimates the landfill to stay open until the year 2036 in their 2024 Annual Report. The end date depends on how much the population grows and how well recycling programs work.
