Vaccine is the most effective tool to prevent COVID-19. COVID vaccine is available for everyone 6 months and older.
Everyone 6–23 months, 2–18 years at high risk, and 19 years or older should get the vaccine. All others 2–18 years may receive it.
We support evidence-based recommendations from trusted national medical specialty societies, including:
- The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP).
- The American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP).
- The American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ACOG).
Washington State Department of Health is aligned with national medical specialty guidance, and recommends vaccination for all children 6 months and older.
