    You have the right to clean air.

    Are your neighbor’s burning practices adversely affecting you? You can:

    Speak with your neighbor.

    Have a conversation with your neighbor. Let them know your concerns and see if you can resolve the matter.

    File a complaint.

    File an anonymous complaint with our Outdoor Air Program. We send letters to residents to inform them when we receive complaints about burning practices. We ask for their help to clean up the air. We will also include education materials on the importance of clean air.

    These agencies have the authority to issue fines:
