  • Operation Suds

    Fun activities to teach children healthy actions.

    Operation Suds is an interactive program developed to teach children about handwashing. Designed for grades K-6, materials are available through the Health Department.

    The program consists of:

    • A brief discussion about the importance of handwashing.
    • A short animated video.
    • A special blacklight activity designed to test each student’s handwashing ability.

    Students will learn about:

    • What germs are.
    • Where germs hide.
    • When to wash hands.
    • How to wash hands.

    The program takes about 45 minutes to complete.
