Your initial food worker card is valid for 2 years. If you renew that card in the 60 days before it expires, it’s valid for another 3 years. Once you have a 3-year card, you can get a 5-year card if you have additional training.
What you need
- Your 3-year renewal card.
- Proof of additional qualifying food safety training within the past 2 years.

Do you qualify?
Email foodworkercard@tpchd.org and include:
- An image of your 3-year food worker card OR your name and birth date.
- AND your certificate of qualifying training.
