COVID-19 Information for Providers

Overview

This page contains resources to prevent, diagnose, and treat SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19.

Everyone 6–23 months old, 2–18 years old at high risk, and 19 years or older should get COVID-19 vaccine. All others 2–18 years old may get it.

We support evidence-based recommendations from trusted national medical specialty societies, including:

• American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP).
• American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ACOG).

Washington State Department of Health (DOH) is aligned with national medical specialty guidance and recommends COVID-19 vaccine for all children 6 months or older.
