Tacoma-Pierce County Health Department contemplates awarding a sole source contract to Answers Counseling, in the amount not to exceed $75,000. The nature of the work is to provide training in Screening, Brief Intervention and Referral to Treatment (SBIRT) as well as motivational interviewing and technical support of clinics implementing SBIRT workflows. Must be certified to teach both SBIRT and Motivational Interviewing. Must have the skill and expertise to teach skills involved in care coordination
and important topics such as heart failure and tobacco cessation. Must be able to provide the training and technical support as outlined.
Contract is good for 1 year from the start date.
Offers contemplating the above requirements are required to submit capability statements detailing their ability to meet the Department’s requirements within five business days of this announcement. In the absence of other qualified sources, it is the Department’s intent to make a sole source award of this contract.
