Tacoma-Pierce County Health Department contemplates awarding a sole source contract to Dave Purchase Project, in the amount not to exceed $25,000. The nature of the work is to provide materials, assembly of wound care kits, and distribution of kits at no cost to persons using syringe exchange services. These clients are at risk for antibiotic resistant skin infections which could be spread in the community. This contract will be through Dec. 31, 2025.
Offers contemplating the above requirements are required to submit capability statements detailing their ability to meet the Department’s requirements within five business days of this announcement. In the absence of other qualified sources, it is the Department’s intent to make a sole source award of this contract.
