Here’s what you’ll learn at next week’s Jan. 17 Board of Health meeting

You can hear several updates from our staff next Wednesday, Jan. 17, at our first regular Board of Health meeting of 2024. We’ll share:

  • A look back at work we did in 2023, and how we hope to build on it this year.
  • What level of disease spread we are seeing locally this respiratory illness season, and how we are working to keep our community safe.
  • The most up to date facility recommendations from our partners at Pierce County.

Look for our agenda later this week. Questions? Email Pat Darden at
